How It Works: My Signature Web Design Process
Every website is unique—and so is my process. Here’s what you can expect when we work together:
Step 1: Initial Website Consultation
This is where it all begins! We’ll hop on a Zoom call to discuss your vision, your goals, your must-haves, and any specific design preferences you have. I’ll walk you through the process and gather everything I need to send you a custom quote.
Step 2: Proposal & Contract
After your consultation, you'll receive a custom proposal based on the scope of your project. Once approved, you'll be sent a contract and invoice for the deposit. A 50% deposit is required to get started.
Step 3: In-Depth Strategy Design Session
Now we get detailed. We'll go page-by-page and map out exactly what content you want on your site, discuss branding elements, and identify the user journey. This step ensures that your website is more than beautiful—it’s also functional and strategic.
Step 4: Content Submission
You’ll submit all the content for your site—including photos, logos, and copy. Don’t worry if you’re not a writer—I’ll format and place everything to fit your design. Need help with copywriting? I can support that too.
Step 5: First Website Review
Once I’ve built your first draft, we’ll hop on Zoom to walk through the site together. You’ll share your feedback and we’ll discuss revisions—everything from layout changes to text edits.
Step 6: Second Website Review
I’ll make the initial changes, then send you a revised version of your site. During our second review session, you’ll have another chance to request final updates.
Step 7: Final Payment + Final Edits

Step 8: Website Walkthrough
To close out our project, we’ll do a full website walkthrough. I’ll show you how to navigate the backend, make simple edits, and keep your site running smoothly.
